Movie Info: A real life story, with real people, in a real setting, in a real world, not something you can see much of on TV now. This is a breakthrough documentary that becomes a thriller, a drama, a comedy, an inspiration and story of our times. Well done to the young director Joe Osborn! It is made entirely in the village of Tayvallich, Argyll, Scotland with the West of Scotland fishing industry as the setting. It follows his attempt to make and convert the only commercial fishing boat in the country to be powered by an electric motor and getting most of its fuel from solar. This is a remarkable David and Goliath story. (IMDB user review)

Panel : Chaired by East Lothian Yacht Club

Hans Unkles – the builder of the first solar powered fishing boat.
